My Bio
I have never confessed to having talent, but just an overwhelming desire to create. I love to draw, paint, and illustrate. I have since I was young. I never really had a lot of support or encouragement until later in life, but I continued as best I could. I read and practice with books, pictures, comics, manga and live models when the opportunity is there. From all of this, I have slowly worked up my own style, which is become clearer as I get older. I continue to have an unhealthy love/hate relationship with my creative side, but I would never give it up.

Women are my favorite subject, and as I have matured, so has the subject matter that I prefer. While a lot of my earlier work is done in comic fashion, I am trying to move back toward a realistic fantasy genre. I want to create sensuous and hedonistic fantasy appear almost life-like, or better than life.

The Best Good

0 min read
I have realized that the best kind of good work a person can do is the kind they happily don't know they are doing. It completely avoids any opportunity for a person to feel entitled or that they might be owed something. They have little reason to feel like they are above others for the good they have done, or that their morality has suddenly garnered greater strength because of the positive outcomes created. The awareness of righteousness is the quickest path to self-righteousness.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. She was there for me for years. She kept me from missing anything important in life. She protected me from harm more times than I deserved. During good times and bad, I could always count on her. And now... My car is dead. I bought my Suzuki Aeiro brand new in 2006. Originally, I didn't want it, but had an expensive sport-luxury sedan, with a gas-guzzling V8 in it, that had to go. Gas prices the year before had been half of what they were when I traded-in. Of course, with the loss I took from the dream car, I was so far upside down on the Suzuki that my face was turning red. I thought, "In a couple of years, I won't be upside down. Then I

Thank you for the :+fav:
:-)
Hey, thanks for the watch. Nice to come across someone who's not a kiddie, is a fellow hedonist, and seems to balance a love of capitalism with an actual awareness of the downsides of its excesses.

And also draws hot women. Always a plus.
Always a pleasure to meet people of like minds.

Your political tirades are very interesting to read, and with the general hostility toward an evolved capitalist philosophy, I figure we can back each other up. Though I still play devil's advocate on occasion.

Glad you like the women. Got some sketches in the scrapbook as well. More to come over weeks and months. Hit a lull in inspiration and motivation for a bit now, but I'll get over it eventually.
Heh. I suppose why my political tirades are so unusual is because... I tend to cut through and just look at things how they literally are, and look at the connections between things. So it's hard to get through to people because it often goes against the... common perception of things.

The whole taxes thing is a pretty good example. Common perception is, the government is robbing us. My perception is, I spend the year using all these services, and in April the government sends me the bill, and I pay it. No different than how the cable company charges me for the internet I used, the electric company charges me for the electricity I used, and so on. Nor do I understand the rhetoric that the government forces you to use the services, because even if it didn't... how would you realistically not use them, exactly?

And well, so on. Part of why politics gives me a headache, because so little of what we do makes any sense to me, and there's a lot of things that it seems like we should be doing that we don't, for reasons that also don't make any sense to me.
